We planned a trip to Meghalaya for 6 Nights and 7 days from Explore Meghalaya for our honeymoon and we have to say we are amazed with the experience. We started from Shilong on the first day and then stayed at Sohra for 3 days and then again 3 days at Shilong. The day we entered Sohra a surprise was given by our host and guide and his family. We were very lucky to have local Khasi dinner prepared by our host's mother. And, we truly don't have any words to describe the beauty of Meghalaya and its people. The hospitality of the people, the culture along with the beauty of Meghalaya... my friend you have to visit this amazing state and for the visit we would definitely recommend Explore Meghalaya. (You will be really lucky if your host is Dappura Chyne who was our host.) 😌

Good planning and service

Best guides and a wonderful itinerary planned, very supportive, friendly folks that helped through every step of the trip to make the best experience. Places and activities were mind blowing especially cave explorations swimming in lagoons kayaking etc. Great help by the guides Tambor and Aiban who went above and beyond helping us girls by hand through difficult treks with great patience and kindness, boating us through, carried our bags and shoes, shared great lovely stories and tidbits about local culture everyday. The stays were also great cozy and clean and special thanks to aunty for homemade food. Spacious traveller and helpful driver Munna bhaiya that let us make impromptu stops when required. Had an incredible trip of my life with Explore Meghalaya team this Christmas week, while enjoying the best views and experiences of the state, also got to meet and know the sweetest and nicest people of the team. Highly recommend them for any groups looking forward to visit the amazing nature of northeast! Great love to the team, Tambor and Aiban once again thanks a lot for the great experience. I traveled with my friends to Meghalaya in December with the Explore Meghalaya group trip, and the experience was truly memorable.
